How can I learn more about Ergonomics?

Can I test a chair out before I decide to buy it?

Harris Work Systems does have a Demo Program available for chairs and certain other ergo items providing you live in the Portland Metro and Salem areas. For specific details please contact one of our Sales Representatives.

Do you have a showroom where I can see the various products you sell?

Yes we do! Our showroom is located at 11530 SW Tiedeman Ave, Tigard, OR 97223.
We recommend you make an appointment so there is someone available that can show you around, help you find the ergonomic furniture that fits you, and answer any questions you may have.

How long will it take for my furniture to be delivered?

Standard production time for chairs is about 10 business days from the date we place the order plus an additional week for shipping and scheduling of delivery. Custom fabrics may take longer. Some chair models and fabrics are available on a 48-Hour QuickShip program. Panel systems and furniture can take between 2-6 weeks depending on the factory and the types of products you are ordering. If you would like to check the status of an order, please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives anytime during normal business hours. Can you deliver and install my furniture?

Yes we can. Harris Work Systems has professional installers that can deliver and install your furniture within Oregon and Washington and some outlying areas. We can also ship items within the United States. To see if we can deliver/install to your specific area, please contact Customer Service at 800-577-4797.

Will you buy or dispose of our old office furniture?

No, but we might have some resources that will accept gently used office furniture. Contact Us and we will direct you to a representative that will gladly help you.

Do you have a design service to help me make decisions on fabric choices and other aesthetic decisions?

Yes, we have a full time Design Department that will gladly assist you with fabrics, laminates and other aesthetic decisions. Contact Us and ask to speak with our Interior Design/Space Planning Representative.

We need help reconfiguring our current office space. Can you help with that?

Yes, we have a full time Space Planner on staff that can review your current office set up and help reconfigure it to your specifications. Contact Us and ask to speak with our Interior Design/Space Planning Representative.

Who do I contact about repairs on broken or damaged furniture?

Contact Us and we will gladly help you with the repair process. You can also download our Warranty/Chair Repair Form (for chair repairs only) and email it to info@hwsfurniture.com or fax it to 503.644.7112.

Can I speak to someone about my questions and concerns?

How do I measure my lumbar? How do I measure my poplitial? How do I measure my knee height?

I'd like to learn more about a chair with a tail bone (coccyx) cut out.

A chair with a coccyx cut out section eases the pressure and helps alleviate pain associated with coccyx injuries. We carry them and would be happy to help you find the right solution for you.

I'd like to learn more about a chair with a head rest.

The contoured shape of a neck-roll supports the upper spinal cervical curve of the neck and the head because headaches and neck strain can result from a lack of neck support. If your daily seated tasks allow for a reclined posture (e.g. teleconferencing, interviewing, a power-nap or just a moment to relax) an ergonomically correct neck-roll or headrest can deliver a high level of comfort.

Can I return any of the furniture I purchase?
